Football TV Parties at Embassy Suites Athletic Club near Cool Springs

The Athletic Club is located off exit 68A on I-65 in the Cool Springs area and the Embassy Suites are visible from the Interstate. The address is 820 Crescent Centre and it is on the 1st floor of the Embassy Suites. Here is a link with a map of the surrounding area of the Embassy Suites.

Adopt-A-Mile Service Program - To demonstrate the civic committment of all Buckeyes, no matter where they live, the Ohio State Club picks up litter four times a year. Watch this space for the next planned pick-up. Contact Gary Cooper at 889-4400 to get your name on the 'call' list.

Annual Activities

OSU Club email list - To receive current notices of Ohio State Club activities, email Jeff Linkinhoker to get on the Club e-mail list. You'll get game watch reminders and notices of available football tickets - you must be a dues paying member for this perk. Your email address will be used ONLY for club business.
OSU Planning meeting - The Ohio State Club meets Q1 each year to elect new officers and plan the year's events. We usually meet on a Sunday afternoon at a member's home. You are invited to participate and provide new ideas. We mail invitations to all members to come help us get organized. See you there.
OSU Spring Dinner - In April or May each spring, we invite a speaker from The Ohio State University as our guest at a sit-down dinner. They always bring an update of current events at OSU, entertain us greatly, and help each of us maintain contact with a very important part of our past.
OSU Adopt-A-Mile - We have adopted Royal Oaks Blvd in Franklin from the new post office to Mack Hatcher Blvd. We pick-up the litter from both sides of the street four times a year. It usually takes about an hour of a Saturday morning. We provide street warning signs, gloves, bags, orange vests, etc. Contact Gary Cooper at 889-4400. He'll put you on the 'call' list for the next pick-up.
OSU College Fairs - Each Fall the Alumni Club represents Ohio State at several College Fairs for area school systems in Middle Tennessee. We pass out OSU literature and answer the questions of potential new Buckeyes. These are usually 6:00pm to 8:30pm during the week from late September thru mid-November. It's easy, OSU provides 'facts and answers sheets', and we always send you with others who have done it before. Each fall we typically talk with 400-500 kids and half of them will send info request cards to Ohio State Admissions.
OSU Football Trip to Columbus - Each fall the University allocates 20-50 football tickets for one of the early games to our Ohio State Alumni Club - we don't get a game choice. We mostly all stay at the same hotel, but we travel separately. It's a perfect opportunity to 'hook-up' with old friends and neighbors back in Ohio - we go the the band 'skull session' warm-up, run to the stadium to watch the band come down the ramp, and all sit together in a block and have a great time. You have to be a paid-up member to get in on this deal.
